One day I was in a terrible, foul mood…I had been having one of those New York days when, gosh darn it, things just weren’t going my way. Then a mariachi band walked onto my train car and melted that frown right off my face. Not to sound like a Lars von Trier film, but music is that thing that matter most to me. It can transcend anything that life throws at me, and inspire me in ways that cannot be expressed in plain language.
Friday was one of those days where music followed me wherever I went. The street, the subway and straight to a Deerhunter show in Williamsburg. Below: a mobile picture record of the music from that day.
