what would they want?

Davinia sends in this mobile picture with the question: Should I give this up for New York? A question that pulls at my heart, I ask you to give me your opinion on the matter. These little doggies might miss a yard, but think of all the new friends they will make at the local dog park. Woof.

Victoria B’s submission begs the question, “Which employee and which hand?”

time warner center

Guys, I love architecture. I even secretly love some of those unpopular condos that are sprouting up like tumors in every borough in New York. Shhhh….

I worked this weekend in a building directly across from the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle. That whole area represents a different kind of New York to me. It’s exciting in certain ways, and absolutely unbearable in others. Anyhoo….I dig the Time Warner Center because from certain angles it looks 2 dimensional, as though it were a massive movie set. The clouds also reflect nicely against all that glass. The hyper color effect of the light panels took me back to middle school, where instead of making hand prints on my hyper color shirt, people would give me tittie twisters instead.

An impressive structure indeed.

the other side of the tracks

Friends can be so creative sometimes! Look at the fun John and Maya had while waiting for the train on opposite sides of the track. Standing in the subway station has never looked so fun!
