Karen R. sent in this mobile photo of organic Batter Blaster. I wonder what is in that canister that is organic, because it looks like a can of Easy Cheese. Cheese should never be easy. It seems like that we, as consumers, will always be considered the lowest common denominator, and will grab and buy anything that has the current hot key words on it. Maybe I would have been more convinced if Batter Blaster came in a burlap bag with a cutesy illustration of a cow on it.

My friend recently came back from Germany and brought me back a Bifi treat. He claims that he thought of me for some reason. I like it when people see things and think of me, but the Bifi packaging looks like a dog penis popping out of the wrapper. Still, I am intrigued by all things German, and I encourage everyone to learn more about this product by going to this website: http://www.bifi.de.
happy accidents

Happy accidents are what paved the way for alternative processes that stemmed out of traditional photography. Gumoils, Kallitypes, Chrysotypes, Daguerrotypes, and Bromoils are just some of the STD sounding names for processes practiced in overpriced art schools across the nation. So as the trend is less chemical, more technology, it can be said that experimentation in photography is at an all time low, and that darkroom processes are delegated to the esoteric.
Not true, asserts fellow co-worker Jon Parker. As he has been trying to “embrace the crappiness” of his iPhone camera, it has yielded some corruptions that are fit to be put up in a gallery in Chelsea. This could lead to broken or corrupt iPhones to be part of a photo curriculum sometime in the future. Here are some of Jon’s photos from said iPhone.
