crystal castles GLITCH

David Selman submitted this mobile picture of a recent Crystal Castles performance. Taken with a trusty iPhone camera, the photo is glitched! Selman remarked on the coolness of “how it blacked out everything but that one horizontal strip and the spotlight.” Cool indeed!

One of the things that has always attracted me to New York is its buildings, and the involuntary voyeuristic roles we all assume once we live here. Unfortunately, the new trend of glass buildings makes the whole notion of voyeurism less exciting, since everyone’s life is now on display for all to see. This mobile picture was taken in a building in Columbus Circle, while I was peeing. It represents the old ideal image I had of New York before I moved here.

hamsters!

It took me a while to like hamsters, but as rodents go, they are fairly cute little creatures. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Erma this weekend, who took a liking to my PBR, much to her owner’s chagrin. Thanks go to John Craver, who documented the moment of Erma’s folly.

And while we are talking hamsters, here is a mobile picture that Karen Radman submitted. It seems like teamwork would be a good key word for this image…
