The snow keeps on falling this winter, punishing and reminding us at the same time of the mild winter we had last year. “Payback is a bitch,” says Mother Nature, whose moods have gathered more and more media coverage in the last couple of years. It seems like Mother Nature is definitely on the rag this winter, as we keep getting bitter cold day after bitter cold day thrown at us. It would be one thing if New York implemented the snow day system that everywhere else in the country follows, but unfortunately we are more than equipped to deal with inclement weather, which forces us to peel our warm bodies out of bed and out into the cold.

This one resembles a street that is part of the historic section of Greenpoint.
