A little piece of Manhattan came to Brooklyn last week in the form of a new photography studio, Root Brooklyn, Drive In Studio’s satellite studio in Williamsburg. The launch party last Thursday was riddled with the usual gaysians and hipsters, as well as a whole lot of people who were in need of some free drinks (myself included). All of this hoopla just confirms that Greenpoint/Williamsburg is becoming the new photo and film district in the city. Yee haw.
