I took this photo of my dad, Bill Gross, while he was visiting me in Boston. Here we are in the North End after a day of sightseeing, then beers, then wine, then good Italian eats with more wine. He’s especially fun when he gets a li’l tipsy. Both he and the tubby chef statue are sticking their tongues out. Cuterion.

This weekend I enjoyed a movie, took a nice long walk in the park and spent time with friends. John, on the other hand, threw on a scary mask and wig and took some frightening mobile pictures to pass the time. See the evidence below.

Work can be really fun with the right people and the right attitude.

Wouldn’t we all rather be up there than down here?
Thanks Rachel.
Who doesn’t love some fringe in the morning? This woman means to start the week off right and is doing it in style. John snapped this mobile pic using the “Shake It Photo” app for the iPhone, producing mobile pictures that have a vintage Polaroid feel to them, which is appropriate because this woman’s outfit is fiercely 70’s.

This pink Jaguar turns heads and breaks hearts.
Thanks Dave.
This calling card I spotted in a Bushwick bodega certainly stuck out from the bunch, channeling a latina Dolly Parton.

And now, a little case of bad indigestion just in time for the Sunday scaries.
