I was really amazed at how Kim Gordon as a 56 year old woman can rock out at the Sonic Youth show last night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. A true indie rock cougar. 

au revoir oprah

Chicago was dealt a blow to its status as a tourist destination last week as Oprah announced that she was ending her show after 25 seasons on the air. Rumors abound that perhaps the big O may relocate to LA. At least the Sears Tower ain’t going anyway…

UPDATE: Apparently the Sears Tower is now called Willis Tower. Sorry Chicago.
